ACUPUNCTURE IS ONE OF THE OLDEST FORMS OF HEALING.
Acupuncture has been effective in treating neuromusculoskeletal problems and other conditions for thousands of years.  It is regulated by national and state agencies and is a service covered by most private health insurance plans.

SAFE, PROVEN AND EFFECTIVE.
Acupuncture involves the insertion of fine, pre-sterilized, disposable needles into specific points of the body to stimulate the nervous system in predictable ways.  These neuro-reactive points are usually along the spine and near the treated area.  Often there are points situated far from the area of complaint that have been shown to affect the treated condition.  Low or medium frequency electrical stimulation may be attached to the needles to help boost the treatment’s effectiveness.  This will be felt as a mild pulsing and has been shown to increase the release of the body’s pain relievers and to further promote healing.
